Pride is a deadly sin. You can call that homophobia if you want to, but I just call it Biblical. Nothing he said was even remotely sexist. He did not say that "a woman's accomplishments in the home are more valuable than any academic or professional goals", though if he had said that, it would not have been sexist, but simply true. And no, he did not make it sound like all women are good for is house work. He suggested that it's something most of the women there were most excited about (a reasonable assumption for a Catholic university), that it's something women excel at (they do), and that it's what makes most women the most happy (it is). Nothing misogynistic there, just a man who enables his wife to do what makes her most happy.
